As at any grammar school all students have to learn two foreign languages. English ist the first foreign language stating at grade 5, the second foreign kanguage must be chosen in grage 7 among French, Russian or Latin.
Students that show a special interest in music attend our musical section from grade 7 to 10.
In grade 9 and 10 students have to take 4 optional lessons according to their special interests. Either they do a third language or they opt for two subjects(two lessons each). They will get normal marks for their options, they have the same relevance as the other marks for the students' career.

As far as possible, supplementary extra-curricular activities are offered. Our theatre club, photo club and computer club have a long tradition. Other students engage in sport activities, music, languages or work with handicapped children.
Our senior high school section is big enough to offer our students a wide range of choice. Thus they may continue all subjects of junior high school and choose them for their finals. In addition to that they can also choose philosophy, law, economics and computer science.
In grade 11 they follow a vocational training for two weeks.
